Standing crossbowman

One face depicts a standing figure in historical dress resting a hand on a crossbow, with a rocky base beneath his feet. The surrounding inscription reads EINLÖSBAR AM SCHÜTZENFEST BIS 2. JUNI 1985, recording a historical redemption deadline. The fineness marking 0.900 appears beside the design. Offered as a collectible, not as presently redeemable currency.

Crossed rifles and wreath

The other face features crossed rifles, a shooting horn and ornamental cords enclosed by leafy branches. A flowing banner reads ALTDORF, JUNI and 1985, with a small bull's-head emblem above.

Mirror-like finish and condition

The brilliant, mirror-like fields are a principal feature of this example. Their reflective appearance sets off the paler relief of the figure, rifles, lettering and foliage. The photographs also show fine lines and scattered surface marks; the proof finish should not be taken to mean the piece is flawless. No numerical grade or third-party Proof or Cameo certification is claimed. Please inspect both photographs, allowing for reflections and possible marks on the flip's plastic window.

The denomination, mintage and fine-silver weight quoted from the cardboard holder have not been independently verified for this listing. No gross weight or diameter is asserted.

A distinctive addition to a Swiss shooting collection, particularly for collectors who appreciate mirrored finishes and traditional shooting imagery.
