Scarcer Canadian printing

The Canadian origin marking distinguishes this version and adds interest for collectors of Canadian-printed trading cards. Its Catwoman subject and colourful illustrated scene make it an appealing addition to a classic Batman set, a Catwoman collection or a display of vintage non-sport cards.

The Cat Woman's scheme

The orange reverse introduces a new challenge for the Dynamic Duo: with the Joker and Penguin out of the way, Catwoman and her gang threaten to control the city's criminal element. Batman warns that she has obtained a secret formula that could give her even greater control. The reverse identifies the card as No. 1 of 11 Batman vs. The Catwoman cards and invites collectors to complete the series of 55 Batman cards.

Condition and holder notes

The photographs show the specific SGC-encapsulated card offered. Please inspect both images for centering, corners, edges, surface appearance and holder condition. SGC has assigned the card a grade of 7 NM (Near Mint). Visible scuffs and scratches on the holder, particularly on the reverse, should be considered separately from the card's assigned grade. SGC's assessment of the card does not imply a scratch-free holder. The card is offered in the holder shown.
