Vintage hockey appeal

Recognized as Phil Esposito's rookie card, this issue captures the early Chicago chapter of his career. Reverse design

The bilingual English and French back records Esposito's 1964-65 season: 70 games played, 23 goals, 32 assists, 55 points and 44 penalty minutes. The accompanying text discusses his role as Bobby Hull's centre. A coin-rub trivia feature asks about the hometown shared by Phil and teammate Chico Maki, adding another period detail to the design.
