Elizabeth II and Voyageur designs
The obverse features the youthful, laureate portrait of Elizabeth II facing right, surrounded by royal lettering. The reverse depicts two paddlers in a canoe carrying bundled cargo, with an island, trees and vertical rays behind them. CANADA appears above, with 1963 and DOLLAR below.
Condition and appearance
The photographs show silver-grey surfaces with reflective highlights, darker areas and warm-toned patches under the lighting. Fine lines and scattered marks are visible on the portrait and in the fields. ICCS assigns MS62; Mint State does not mean free of contact marks or other surface imperfections. No Prooflike, Proof, Cameo or additional variety designation is claimed.
Please examine the obverse, reverse and label photographs closely for this example's individual surfaces and appearance. Reflections, scratches and marks on the plastic packaging may also affect the images. Standard specifications above describe the issue and are not independent measurements of the encapsulated coin.
Collecting appeal
A certified Mint State example for an Elizabeth II silver-dollar collection, a Voyageur dollar set or a broader selection of Canadian silver coinage. This listing is specifically for certification XNV 986.
