Condition disclosure: broken pin

The pin is broken and the badge should not be expected to fasten or function as a wearable pin. It is offered in its pictured condition as a collectible for display. The reverse photograph shows the damaged and bent remaining hardware.

Both sides show surface wear, scratches, scattered marks and patches of discolouration. The reverse has a conspicuous grey patch near the upper edge of the mounting area. No conclusion is made about previous repairs or replacement of the attachment. Please inspect both photographs closely for the exact condition.

The gold-coloured surface describes appearance, not gold content. No specific alloy, maker, rarity or ownership history is asserted.

Collecting appeal

A dated example for collections of Alberta chauffeur badges, transportation memorabilia, provincial history or numbered occupational badges, with its broken pin prominently disclosed.
