Design and reverse

The front places ALBERTA above the prominent individual number, with CHAUFFEUR and the date below. The reverse shows a horizontal pin, catch and oval mounting area.

Condition disclosure

The photographs show surface wear, scratches, scattered marks and patches of discolouration on both sides. Some recessed lettering and numerals have darker or greenish colouration. The reverse has visible attachment material and a pale patch along the lower portion of the oval mounting area. No conclusion is made about whether the pin assembly has been repaired or replaced. The pin and catch are present in the photograph, but their operation has not been tested for this listing.

The gold-coloured surface describes appearance, not gold content. No specific alloy, maker, rarity or ownership history is asserted. Please inspect both photographs closely for the exact condition and reverse construction.

Collecting appeal

A dated example for a collection of Alberta chauffeur badges, transportation memorabilia, provincial history or numbered occupational badges. Its oval format provides a contrast to the circular designs found on other years.
