Kneeling marksman design

One face depicts a kneeling, bearded marksman wearing a broad-brimmed hat and holding a long firearm across his body. The surrounding inscription identifies the 1949 Federal Shooting Festival at Chur. The artist's name EMIL WIEDERKEHR appears below the figure.

Heraldic shield and anniversary

The opposite face displays a shield incorporating a cross and an ibex, surrounded by SCHWEIZERISCHER SCHÜTZENVEREIN. The dates 1824–1949 mark the association's 125th anniversary. A small B appears above the dates. This is offered as a commemorative medal, not a denominated circulation coin.

Condition and appearance

The photographs show grey-silver surfaces with warmer highlights, visible fine lines and scattered marks in the fields. Raised details remain clearly visible on the marksman and shield. No numerical grade or independent certification is assigned. Please inspect both photographs closely for the individual surface characteristics; reflections and marks on the flip's plastic window may affect the appearance.

The silver fineness and fine-silver weight quoted above are the handwritten information on the holder, not measurements or an assay performed for this listing. No gross weight or diameter is asserted.
