The Voyageur Design
The coin features the iconic Voyageur Dollar design on the reverse. Sculpted by prominent Canadian artist Emanuel Hahn, it portrays a French-Canadian voyageur and a person of Indigenous descent paddling a birch-bark canoe. The background includes the Northern Lights and an islet with two wind-swept trees, while the bundles of cargo feature the "H.B." initials for the Hudson's Bay Company. The obverse features the effigy of King George VI.

Graded AU-50, this example retains strong detail with light wear on the highest points and attractive original surfaces. The Victory Dollar is a favorite among collectors for both its historical significance and timeless Canadian design.
