The photographs provide views of both designs as well as the identifying NGC label.

Condition disclosure

NGC explicitly identifies surface hairlines. These fine surface lines are a condition impairment and are part of the reason the coin carries a Details assessment rather than a numerical grade. UNC Details describes the coin's level of remaining detail; it is not a numerical Mint State grade and should not be read as an unimpaired Mint State certification. No specific cause of the hairlines is asserted beyond the wording on the NGC label.

Please examine both photographs closely for the coin's surfaces, tone and overall appearance. Reflections or scratches on the holder may also affect its photographed appearance. No additional variety, rarity or finish designation is claimed.

Collecting appeal

A certified example for a Southern Rhodesian collection, a George VI denomination set or a broader collection of world coinage, with the surface qualification clearly disclosed.
