ICCS Cameo designation
The Cameo designation is documented directly on the ICCS label. Cameo describes contrast between the raised design and surrounding fields; it does not, by itself, identify a coin as a proof. This example is offered with the recorded MS63 grade and Cameo attribution, without an additional proof, prooflike or Heavy Cameo designation.
George VI and the schooner reverse
The obverse features T. H. Paget's uncrowned, left-facing portrait of George VI with the royal inscription around the rim. Emanuel Hahn's reverse depicts a schooner under sail, with CANADA above, the date beside the sails and 10 CENTS below. Introduced in 1937, the sailing-ship design became one of the most recognizable images on Canadian coinage.
Dated during the Second World War, this dime provides a compact silver example from the George VI era, suited to a monarch type set, a Canadian dime collection or a selection focused on certified Cameo coins.
Condition and appearance
MS63 is a Mint State grade. Visible marks remain on the fields and design, as shown in the supplied photographs. The images show lighter raised details against areas of darker reflection, particularly on the portrait side. The appearance of contrast and colour can change with lighting and viewing angle. Please review both coin photographs for the individual surfaces rather than expecting a mark-free example.
All three supplied images show the specific coin and its certification. Marks, scratches and reflections on the plastic holder should be considered separately from the coin. Encapsulated in the pictured ICCS sealed holder. Tampering with the holder invalidates the certification opinion. Have the holder replaced if the inner package or seal is not intact. The listed measurements are standard coin specifications, not shipping measurements for the encapsulated item.
The ICCS-certified coin shown is the exact coin you will receive. Guaranteed authentic.
