A circulated example of the 1937 Bank of Canada Ten Dollar note, certified and graded Fine 18 by Banknote Certification Service (BCS) with the coveted BCS Guarantee. Catalogue reference BC-24c, bearing the signatures of J.E. Coyne (Deputy Governor) and G.F. Towers (Governor), prefix K/T, serial number K/T9586566. No additional comments noted by BCS.

Dated Ottawa, 2nd January, 1937, the obverse features a portrait of King George VI in military uniform at centre within an oval vignette, flanked by red serial numbers on a deep purple-black ground, printed by the British American Bank Note Company, Limited. The reverse displays one of the most dramatic designs in Canadian numismatic history — an allegorical male figure representing industry and commerce, standing amid a busy industrial harbour scene with ships, cranes, and factory smokestacks, rendered in rich dark tones. The Coyne-Towers signature combination is among the later pairings of this popular 1937 ten dollar series.
