Standing marksman design

One face depicts a standing marksman in historical dress holding a long firearm, surrounded by a decorative border and the festival inscription identifying Fribourg and 1934. The full-length figure gives this piece a distinctly different character from portrait-style circulation coinage.

Crowned shield and five-franc inscription

The opposite face features a crowned oval shield framed by branches and a decorative outer border. The denomination 5 Fr. and a small B appear below. The French inscription states that the five-franc voucher was redeemable before 31 August 1934, recording its original event-related purpose. It is offered as a collectible historical shooting issue, not as presently redeemable currency.

Condition and appearance

The photographs show silver-grey surfaces, visible fine lines and scattered marks, with lighter highlights on the raised designs. No numerical grade, Mint State designation or third-party certification is claimed. Please review both photographs closely for wear, surface characteristics and overall appearance. Marks and reflections on the flip's plastic window should be considered separately from the piece itself.

The silver fineness and fine-silver content quoted above are taken from the handwritten holder information, not an independent assay or measurement for this listing. No gross weight or diameter is asserted.

Collecting appeal

A distinctive addition to a Swiss shooting collection or a selection of European sporting and festival issues. Its dated redemption inscription adds historical context alongside the marksman and heraldic designs.
