The Large H variety is distinguished by the larger, bolder Heaton mintmark on the reverse, contrasting with the Small H die. The 1902H is a first-year Edwardian issue struck at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham, England, and is a perennial favourite among collectors of early 20th-century Canadian silver coinage.
