I have a wide selection Canadian coins and paper money, ancient and medieval coins, and coins from around the world, in the store.

I buy many types of Canadian coins and paper money, ancient, medieval and modern world coins, as well as most types of gold and silver coins. If you are looking to sell coins there is no fee to assess them and make an offer but you have to bring them to the store. I cannot make offers based on lists or phone calls.

It is often busy in the store limiting the time I can spend on the phone discussing collections, valuations or hand recording orders. Orders should be placed by e-mail or if sensitive information is being sent (credit card numbers, etc) it is best to use my secure order form.

When time permits I will do written insurance or estate appraisals on coin collections. I will need to see the actual coins and my fee for such work is $75.00 per hour.

I keep limited cash on hand so transactions over a few hundred dollars will only be pay by cheque. I am licensed by the City of Calgary who's bylaws requiring me to file a police report on all purchases. You must be at least 18 years old with two pieces of valid ID one of which must be a government issued photo ID (Drivers license, passport, etc) while the other must be something official but need not need to have a photo (heath care, etc). You must also provide proof of your address which may be on one of the ID's, but could be a piece of mail addressed to you. You will be required to sign the report before payment is made. If you cannot not provide the required ID or are unwilling to sign the report, I cannot buy your items.
